PURPOSE
Space for Change was formed in 2019 with a drive to delivering high quality, appropriate design through a focussed and friendly service experience, in parallel with exacting social change.

With every project worked on, Space for Change directs a portion of its profits towards exacting various different forms of social change around the world (see below for the partner organisations with whom we are currently working), whilst staying competitive on fees.
In 2019, the UK construction industry was worth 6% of the country’s GDP, according to the Office of National Statistics. This equates over £150 billion per annum, and Space for Change seeks to direct a larger portion of this to supporting projects around the world, through funding and design services, where possible.

Space for Change's parallel purpose is to also make architecture more financial accessible to charities, without compromising on the level of service and care.
SERVICES
Space for Change provides a bespoke full architectural service, taking projects through all the stages from inception to completion, delivering value through high quality, accessible, appropriate and environmentally responsible design.

We believe in a tailored human-centric approach that works collaboratively with all parties that may be involved, and aims to collectively enjoy each stage of a project.

We realise that each project is unique, and therefore, understanding the brief and driving factors are essential to a successful design. Our process will typically follow the RIBA plan of work (above), when appropriate, which clearly organises a build into easily manageable stages.
